Biography

Experienced Saudi Chemical Research Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the oil, gas and renewable energy industry. Skilled in Technology development, Catalysis and Process Engineering. Passionate about green hydrogen and converting sustainable natural gas to chemicals. Strong engineering professional, currently a Phd Candidate focused in Chemical Engineering at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.

Research Interests

To optimize different kind of novel zeolites and mesoporous silica in order to maximize the selectivity, activity and stability for a reaction such as dimerization/oligomerization, metathesis or cracking of hydrocarbons. In addition, to investigate several transition metals (e.g. Zr, Ti, Ni) and their effect on the catalyst performance. Finally, to study different impurities (e.g. oxygen, CO2) in order to develop a robust catalyst that withstand harsh conditions in the industry.
